Engagement shoot : Nonsuch Mansion

Nonsuch Mansion is a seriously stunning wedding venue. This exquisite Georgian house, nestled amongst 300 acres of beautiful grounds, and packed to the rafters with chic, romantic (and, frankly, drool-worthy) interiors is enough to make anyone feel weak at the wedding-loving knees.

So, as you can imagine, when my lovely friend Hannah and her fiance Justin chose not only to get married at Nonsuch Mansion, but also to book us as their wedding photographers, we were absolutely over the moon. To say the very least.

Their Engagement Shoot took place on a cold, damp January morning, but this gorgeous duo seemed blissfully oblivious to it all as they chatted, cuddled and laughed their way throughout the day.

Here are just a few of our favourite moments from an oh-so chilly but oh-so happy morning:

Hannah & Justin, we are SO excited about your big day later this year. We can’t wait to see all the details that you have so carefully planned and crafted, all the outfits that we’ve heard so much about and, most of all, to see the emotion in your eyes, and on the faces of your lovely little boys, as you make your wedding vows. It’s going to be absolutely magical…

Love Becky x

  • Nancy - Beautiful shoot, lovely venue, and what a gorgeous couple! I’m not surprised that you can’t wait to be a part of their wedding- I can’t wait to see the photos!ReplyCancel

  • Ruth - Aw, that’s so romantic. Your images are always so fresh and natural, and you’ve really captured their love for one another. Great work.ReplyCancel

  • Sarah Brindle - Wow. All these images are incredible, but the silhouette shots in particular are so creative and passionate. And I’m sure I speak for all of us American photographers when I say that I’m so envious of all your gorgeous British locations! Superb work as usual.ReplyCancel

  • Hannah - Becky and Geoff these are incredible! I can honestly say I am gobsmacked, they have far exceeded any expectations we had. Justin and I both just sat together looking through all of the shots from the day, and we are thrilled with each and every one. Geoff really is amazing. I can’t believe it is actually US in the photos!

I would like to highlight that although Becky and I are friends, until the shoot Justin and I had only met Geoff briefly once before. However, this didn’t matter one bit. Just like his wife, one of Geoff’s many talents is his ability to make you feel at ease very quickly. He’s warm, funny, attentive and even helped to settle this crazy bride’s ‘which shoes?’ debate!

A massive thank you to Geoff for such beautiful photographs, and to Becky for putting up with my rambling emails. We really couldn’t be happier. These images, without doubt, will be treasured forever more.

Now bring on the big day…

  • Helena - I love it when I read one of your blog posts, fall in love with your photos, and then get to read the words of the people you featured at the end. I feel like I was there that day (and wish I was going to be there at the wedding)!! You are so truly talented, and I am inspired by your work every single time I see it. And this venue looks wonderful, too!ReplyCancel

  • Emily Jane - How adorable is this shoot?! Simple, elegant, completely natural images, filled with so much love and emotion. What a lovely couple. And what a fantastic photographer and storyteller you are.ReplyCancel
